Know Your Rights


  • When arrested by the police, you have the right to remain silent (Miranda right). Anything you say can be used against you in the court of law.
  • You don’t have to consent to any search of yourself, your personal property or your house unless law enforcement say they have a search warrant, and you have the right to see it.
  • Your 8th Amendment right is the Right to Bail.
  • Your 5th Amendment right is the right to counsel (Attorney).
